I said "probably" and there's NO way any one would know until they dyno the car. All tuners know what ideal air fuel ratio should be at for na engine (no more then 13.5:1 a/f ratio at WOT) and sc/turbo engine (no more then 12.0:1 a/f ratio at WOT). Since is a mail order tunes, it pretty much a stock tunes based on a stock car. Since most people car are not stock with mods like AMG air box, secondary CAT deleted...etc, they can kiss that a/f ratio ideally good bye. Because of people have different mods in their car, you can't apply the same files from one car to the next. The only way to be sure is to dyno the car and i'm surprised that NOT a single person here with the ECU upgrade dyno their car yet !!!
What makes you think they are applying the same tune to everybody's car?

They said that they can tuned based on what mods you have in your car but reality is, you CAN NOT tune it that way without having the car on the dyno and tune it live !!!!!! A mod like CAT deleted , AMG air box..etc, how do they know how much air is being suck in to provide enough fuel without running lean at WOT and enough timing that it won't cause detonation? I've been around the tuning shops and experienced with tuning for years on my cars and friend's cars and seen it all. Take my friend's C55 with Kleemann SC for example, all his mods are Kleemann and it take 3 ECU tuned from Kleemann just to get the air fuel ratio right. The funny thing was, we never knew there was any problems with the car because it run perfect and super strong until he dyno to find out how much power it make and find out that his air fuel ratio was way high. All this **** i'm saying sound like I'm try to put negative on this ECU tuning. To be honest, it for your own good to dyno your car and be safe. I've been there and done that and tell people how fast my CL55 is with HPS Supercharger based on BUTT DYNO but when I finally dyno my CL 55, I made just 25 rwhp more (instead of 125 hp more)and air fuel ratio at WOT was in the 17.0:1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here's the link to the 68 pages debates when me and my friend (AMGSC) has our car Supercharger installed.................btw, my old screen name is "CLK&SLK". I decided to changed it to get away from that whole mess after we sued them.

Nobody is bragging how fast their car is after this tune. Everybody that I know doing the tune has an NA engine. You're talking superchargers with all these mods. I have a 320, deleted cats, and drive about 500 miles a month and your talking to me about rebuilding my engine. Since you are always right, I will be preparing for my engine to explode.

Never take the tuner words for it. The only safest way is dyno the car to find out yourself. I learned that lessons throught that whole messy. We were defending our tuner for 2 years but we were totally wrong after the dyno and in the end, the damages already weak the engine and blew it up.

You missed my points, what we think and feels doesn't mean much until you dyno it. In your case of getting better gas mileages could sacarfied a lean running engine. No way of knowing for sure until you dyno the car, is the only way to be safe. Specially your car is deleted the CAts. The CAT is there to filter/burn up all the unburn gas. Now that it not there, to clean up the unburn gas, the ECU gonna think that the engine is running richer then it really is and tell the ECU to reduce fuel which could cause it to run leaner.

My Engish is bad as you can see. It even harder trying to put it in words and that's where the confusion and the mis-understood started. Man, I would love to see any one of you guys with the ECU upgrade dyno with success results. I would jump on the bangwagon too.

Me too! I'd love nothing more than to jump on the bandwagon and make my car faster, but untill i see a dyno i won't do that in fear of blowing my engine. I need my car to last through law-school and can't afford a $20,000 engine.

ENOUGH WILL ALL THE NONSENSE ALREADY ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
You guys are wasting a lot of energy with the back and forth arguments.
I created this thread for people that got the tune to give their opinion, experience about the tune.
PLEASE keep it simple.

The first half of the video, look like you got a great jump on him. The second half of the video, when you pulled on him from behind and passed him, if you guys were still racing then your car is faster then stock. Did you beat him every single races you guys races tonight? Btw, did you even took it past 135 mph to check on the speed limiter?

every time he got the jump, in the 1st video you can hear his car rev up before mine, 2nd video we agreed i will give him ahead start and i still passed, we went all the way on. Regarding the limiter mine from stock was 155 so i didn't bother going past that to see if my limiter is out. ![drive](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)

I meant if 550 in the youtuve video was sandbaggin (doubt he was, i heard him step on it). Klinh, we need a dyno to see what the deal with this dyno is..so far it looks promising.

When you do rolling start racing like that, if he a good racer, he should already be in manual mode and selected the right gears then just floor it. He engine sounded like he's in automatic mode then he just floor it and that's why you hear that engine roar to life when the kick down switch kick in. You're looking at like half a second lost reaction time for the tranny to do all that step.
