im thinking about getting the brabus style front bumper but idk where to get the quad fogs. any help guys?

 

i would talk to wes, he installed the projector style fogs. i am sure you can wire 2 sets of those up. would be dope.

 

Why can't you buy the Brabus fog lights from Brabus?

 

ill try to find a way to contact them. was just wondering if there was another way for me to get my hands on them rather than buying straight from brabus.

 

The projectors won't work. The brabus bumper has round fogs. I don think any fogs available will fit the bumper, you might have to go straight through brabus. I'm not sure if the 06-09 CLK fogs would fit. Where you planning on getting a rep bumper?

 

he could custom fab it to mount and to work with the projectors.......lol i hope?


if i recall, most rep bumpers dont come with mesh. =/

 

Yea, they would have to be custom made...The fogs are held in by the bumper frame, not the mesh though

 

ahh i always wondered how they were mounted.....

 

lol, I learned that when doing my bumper conversion...I wonder if the rep bumpers come with the frame...

 

the bumper comes with the center mesh, not the fog light mesh or fog lights. so im going to be needing both of those. if you guys want me to post the link to the bumpers i will as soon as im home and find the link again

 

So the bumper doesn't come with the frame? Depending on the price you bought the rep for you might be better off buying the original that comes with everything.

 

i havnt bought the bumper yet, for this reason of being better off buying something else, but im still currently talking to the company. heres a link to the bumper. includes the front bumper, side skirts, and rear bumper.

ED is a sponsor here on the forum, you should contact them direct to see if they could offer a better price. It says full Brabus kit, but the pictures are the AMG rear bumper not Brabus. Aside from the kit you would need to purchase the fogs, grilles, frame, and I'm not sure about the impact absorbers.

the brabus kit from ED looks to be the rep AMG kit except with a brabus front end.

edit: btw how much did they give you for pricing?

 

yeah it says in the description that the front is brabus rep and comes with amg rep skirts and rear. They said 741 shipped for the front rear and skirts
