The Brembos are 14" 355mm..They were bolt on, and my shop installed them.

Looks good.....looks like mine!

Wait so why didn't you get rear brembos...or maybe the other question is why didn't you get the clk63/550 6 piston amg's for the front? you wouldn't have to worry about the mismatch.

I hear the BS fronts are shared with the E63 or something.

Thanks. I wasn't going to upgrade my brakes this soon, but then I saw Coin's thread for the front Brembos at a good price and I jumped on them. The Brembo rears are too much $$ new.

They actually share the calipers with the SL65 AMG 230.479

First off, VERY nice Wes!

Color choice, the red Brembo's look great but if I were in this situation I'd leave the mighty AMG pieces as they are and repaint the Brembo's silver to match. Of course, add a black Brembo caliper decal in the process.

My $0.02

Yea, I'm thinking the same. I just love how the red pops though.

Congrats Wes! Your brake setup is I wish I had your problem (Hmmm, what color should I paint my SICK Brembo brake setup...).

As far as color, if your looking for a more sporty, expensive, aftermarket look; then I would go with red.

If your looking for a more subtle, classy, factory look; then I would go with silver.

Good luck and keep those pics coming!

Thanks Carlos. I think I might go with the red, I don't know if the silver will stand out as much as I would like being the car is silver.

I don't think I noticed you had a BS spoiler..How long have you had it? Any pics? I'm getting mine installed today.

Any updates on the CF diffuser install?

Now that I think about it, you're right. Red would be my choice on a silver car (Ha, Ha! I kept imagining your car was black).

I have a few pics of spoiler in my gallery. The BS spoiler was the very first mod I did on my car and now I've been modding ever since!

The diffuser is going on this weekend and I have an appointment with my exhaust shop on Monday. I will create a new thread detailing my experiences on the W209 forum; so stay tuned!

Reading this thread just reminded me how LONG its going to take to get my stuff...

However, I am very much looking forward to some great step by step pics of your diffuser install (other posts on this topic were also good but it's great to have a variety of different views) and exhaust conversion.

hmmm those pics looks so familiar to me.. hmmmmm

lol....

dont you think the middle fins should have vents like the real BS diff? so that it wont vacuum some air... when u are going fast???

I saw fattony's diff.. and those foam will not really help much... it will still vacuum air... and may fly the diff away or behind! LOL
