Do you feel the sound more in the cab since the glasspacks are right under you?

My exhaust? Still not sure what kind of mufflers I want to go with. It's a PITA cuz the shop is like 30-45 min away and the droning is ridiculous. I should have it done soon, my car is just sitting there. lol

Quote: Do you remember what the inside looked like? Was it just a standard straight though design?

I passed by my mechanic this morning and he ended up not using my resonator. I was able to snap a few pics for you.

Hey thanks for the pic Wes! It looks to me like this is a single in, single out...? The factory resonator on my 500 is a dual in, single out design. Anyways, good to know it's a simple straight though design. Thanks again.

It did thanks, now that I know MB uses a straight through (not dimpled) design I'm just going to go ahead with my original plan; cut out the secondary cats, enlarge the pipe size from the factory resonator to the muffler then split out to dual pipes.

What size are you going to? Mine was actually 2.25" and I went with 2.5". It would be nice to upgrade to 3", that would be mean...
