my new clk 500

Just leased my new clk500, was waiting for 4 mo, but suddenly found clk500 with k3,k4,cd,navigation in silver color.
drove firts 1000 miles,so far
pros-stunnig look,excellent ride,great nav system and sound,superb brakes,very good ride/pirelli rosso/
cons- seats just ok at best/i am 6,3 and210/,whipers/so many complaints on this board/,steering wheel could be much better.
Overall score/1-10/-9.0
By the way my lease is for 39 mo,15k,$1700 on inception and
$799 per mo.
Any coments,thanks, Alex-gasman

My 2 Cents

I disagree on the navigation system. My wife has a Lincoln Navigator and the Navigation system is much better. For one it shows all the streets around the street you drive on and much more. On the steering wheel, I changed it to the wood and leather and it’s great. About the wipers, I guess we lucky in Southern CA. it doesn’t rain too much. Sorry. Smile
I do agree on the brakes, excellent.

Im 6'6, i find the seats comfortable and for a coupe its suprisingly roomy in the front, miles better than the 208 which really scrambled for headroom.

Another great thing for a tall driver sitting further back is that you have no big B-post next to your left ear. Feels much better and airy.

I don't find the wipers such a big deal, but i did have to have them replaced, but with that done, they are wisper quiet and the rainsensor works OK (not perfect though). Not such a big deal.

Cheers
