04 CLK500 DRL disable low beams
Hey guys been looking in the older forums but haven't gotten any answer. I want to install LED DRL's on my 04 CLK but dont want to have my low beams come on with my city lights and LED's. In one forum i was reading, it said to wire the LED into the same line as your City lights. My city lights won't come on unless i manual turn on my parking lights or if i use the DRL (constant) function which means
low beams come on too. is there a way to bypass the lowbeams? HELPPPPP!

I suppose you could tap into a switched power source, but make sure it has enough power for you to draw from. Something like a cigarette lighter fuse may work. You won't be able to tap into any of the standard lights because only the low beam can be used as a daytime running light.
