my worry is only how it gets taken off. and how it will adhere in sunlight? i wouldnt wanna have any regrets a year or so down the road to get my car back to silver.
I'm pretty sure that was my brothers e90. we both did our cars matte white. as for sticking I'm really not sure as its only between on for a few months but I did have to redo a section after the vinyl had been on for three months and it perked off super easy with some help from a blow dryer. no residue left behind. the vinyl is very rubbery

Henry, what kind of prepping did you do for the vinyl?

I did a full detail. I'm not sure if it helped or hurt because the wax although helping making the application process a bit easier also prevents it from sticking properly, hence the bubble on the bumper.

its quite an attention getter. on one occasion I saw three different people walk by to touch it and one take a few photos. all within an hour. I was eating dinner across the street and saw them. haha

Funny you mention that, I spoke to a shop here about how they prep the car (I'm going to be getting my roof done) and they said they use a wax stripper then a alcohol based cleaner.

Regardless, your car looks great for a DIY, very impressed.
