Talking What a ride!

This might not exactly fit into the 209 forum but it's something I want to share with my fellow MB e-friends.

I was in Kuwait today, flew back to Abu Dhabi (UAE) then connected on to Doha (Qatar). The hotel in Doha always sends a car to pick me up at the airport, a S500, stunning ride but tonight I got a real treat, they upgraded. I was driven to the hotel in a brand new S600 V12 This is the absolute pinacle of any production car limo I've ever been in. I adjusted the rear set, put the massage on and told the driver (my usual guy) to give me a V12 demo - OMG, did he ever. One word - a beast from a refined family.

Anyways, I'm loaded up with bubbly and JD so I'm off to bed, but hell ya, what a ride!

I wonder if we could retro-fit the massaging seats into the W209 CLK? (now it fits )

Mind you, the CLK is automatic so I could drive it with stumps... Anyways, directly regarding this topic, I'm off to check out and head to the airport. Catch you on the flip side.

Work in the oil & gas industry, Regional Technical Manager for Africa, Middle East, Caspian, SE Asia and Australia. My company looks after me very well, nice compromise for the 300+ days a year I travel and some of the less than stable countries I often have to visit

You are a brave man Kev. Had me scared a bit when I didn't see any posts for a couple days and the last I heard you were about to cross the Iraq border..

Even though CNN wouldn't have it, there are far worse places then Iraq. And besides, I have a deal with my wife, if I go missing or end up the star of one of those internet terrorist home videos, she'll update my online status...
