CLK Feature compared to C class W203

I'm driving a C230 2005 for a courtesy car right now and it seems that the car is fully loaded. However, there are things that I'm wondering why our CLK does not have that features. Here are the lists:

- Auto passenger side mirror adjustment when you're backing up (put the gear into R)
- Temperature change in the speedo meter from F to C

That's the most thing that I've noticed and should be standard in CLK. Any of yours have these features?

Yes, I have both. The temp can be changed in the settings of the speedo and the passenger side mirror goes down only when you have it selected and put the car in reverse.

I've got a '05 Avantdarde Sport C and a '05 Avantgarde Sport CLK, both cars have all the same basic options except for two;

> CLK has KeyLess Go, C does not
> C has the adjustable speed limiter 'LIM', CLK does not (and that sucks big *****)

The two things you mentioned above are in both my cars, you just have to select them in the menu.

It's a convenience feature in the menu on the speedo. Once you activate it you have to make sure that the passenger side mirror button is selected by lights dial.

Can they update the software like that? I tried to search in the setting menu but no success. That should be a standard, right?

I believe this is called "Parking Assist" in the Convenience Menu.

This was a standard feature in all CLK, at least in Canada. I use it all the time and it works very well.

Badblack, are you sure you got those features after the software update? Because my dealership said that it's built into the car, not just a software update. Anyone can help me with this?

Thanks

Update: my dealer wants me to pay $55-110 to get the coding to activate those features. Do you think Indie shops will be able to do that? How about to activate the xenon? Indie shop can do that too?

lol, first they can't do it and now they want to charge you..It figures. I had my xenons activated at an Indie shop. They charge me for an hour to install and activate.

Installing the xenon is involving bumper removal, isn't it? How hard is to remove CLK bumper? I did remove my Acura and Honda bumpers but never do European cars yet.
