They say it just peels off the emblem. Since the emblem is raised, that causes the plasti dip to separate.

wow that looks really really good. So you can go through car washes and wipe your rims and that thing will still stay on??

Its just weird to me. Its so easy to peel off after all? Imagine if some a*** just peels them off while you are parked lol

i love this stuff. I'm planning on doing s63 kit next week and completely skipping paint costs .. shh don't tell

I have a professional shop to plastidip my whole car matte-white with black trim/accents for $600. Cost effective method for matte finish and a completely new paint scheme for your car. Oh and they can also add a bit of a gloss finish to it now a days for those who are interested

Looks good from the pic. I am trying to do my trunk roof and partial hood.
Whats the deal with car-washes now?

How does this compare to vinyl?

Anyone have experience with the plasti dip on rims? My stock ones have become a bit scratched and I just picked up new tires so painting them if they last a while seems like a good idea...although I am concerned about longevity under heavy braking?

I saw they have gloss finish (enhancer) as well. My roof some how got acid (I think) dropped on it from a bridge repair work. MB quoted $1k to repaint, but I figured I would do vinyl or plasti dip (easy to take off and do something else).
