clk 320 elegance
SCM [MRM] steering column module -f-

my clk320 53 plate stopped on the A40 nr Northolt, yes the engine stalled, i was doing 50mph (within a40 speed limit) and suddenly lost all the power and all ignition lights flashing in my face! luckily managed to park it securily till the police came and towed me of the a40 for safety, had to call vehicle recovery and take it to Fraser in Alperton. The crankchaft sensor was replaced for the cost of £350.00 PLUS the recovery charges, not happy at all when the milage is only 43k.
Anyways, after repair the garage gave me the printout of the DIAGNOSIS ASSISTANCE SYSTEM which they said is linked to Mercedes site. I came home and after few days looked at the report and it shows the : SCM [MRM] - steering coloumn module and the Result is -f-
I guess this means failed, does anybody know what this means?
thanks alot

ps. the garage didnt mention anything wrt the report!
