CLK 550
clk 550 2009 HID bulbs

hey guys ...

I noticed my factory HID bulbs for clk 550 are a little "yellow"

how do I change these to get the more hyper white - blue tinge tuner look?

any way to change out the fogs down below too (also a little yellow"

THANKS!

What color are your fogs? In your avatar pic they look like 6K or more.

I'm running 6000k bulbs in my stock bi-xenon headlights and a HIDExtra 6000k HID kit in my fogs. I think 8000k is too blue and ricey, just my opinion though.

We're talking about replacing the bulb in the headlight, not the whole light.

Just the bulbs for the headlight. For foglights, would required the complete kit included the codes canceler. Sorry......mine headlights bulbs is DS1 not DS2. Your should be DS1 too. DS2 is the older HID headlight.

That's weird !! Sylvania said that my foglight is H11 but mine is H7 but other has the H11. You should have the new headlight with adaptive feature like the headlight turn when you turn. The only sure way is to remove the back cover and see if the bulbs look like in the pictures on my link. The Ds1 has the blaster built onto the bulb. Here's the link to see what Ds1 bulbs look like.
