With all this talk about badges (BadBlack's thread here https://mbworld.org/forums/clk-class...lk320-amg.html), I was wondering what to do to my car. My supercharger is going to be installed this month and although my car will always be a CLK500; I've modded it so much, I don't see a CLK500. I'm leaning toward just a debadge, but what do you guys think?

What would you guys be thinking if you saw my CLK with V8 Kompressor on the sides? Would you immediately think poser (since there is no stock CLK with those badges; in the USA anyway)?
The overall theme I'm going with the car is more like "It should have came like this from the factory", rather than "Tuner" like. So the effect I want is, "I'm not sure what it is. Let's not mess with it"
Any thoughts on this?

Poser would probably be the assumption made from most people "in the know", but you will have a valid reason for having it. I kind of like the idea of the Kleeman badge on the side.

I would put the kleeman badge on, but leave the kompressor badge off. I don't like "mismatching" badges, even it's sort of true. It's not oem. But if I had a SC, I might consider a custom plate.....SC CLK or CHARGED < not thought out..just throwing stuff out.

If the idea is "shoulda come this way" then the fender Kompressor badges would make the most sense. If you want to very simply and quickly say "this is a bad a$$ piece of car, don't f with it", debadge it and just have Kleemann on the right side. OR... leave it as is and have everyone wonder what the hell just happened when you smoke the hell out of them

just put some wierd combination of letters on it, maby somin like an abbreviation for something made up. so when people see it, there like wtf is this, must be special made or limited edition....lol..
or just do somin really effin strange..like debadge and then rebadge with the most oddest numbers and letters.hahahahaha... put CRL 655 thats wicked..lol your not even a poser then

Debadged here as well, love the clean look of the car and the "what the hell?" look from guys sitting beside me in traffic...
