New wheels, need opinions
As promised, here are some pics of the wheels I just purchased and I need some opinions on lowering. I received the shorter lug bolts yesterday because the stock ones were too long. I only mounted one side because it started snowing and I didn't want to deal with that right. I would like to keep the stock shocks for the moment and I heard that Eibachs work with the stock shocks, correct me if I'm wrong. I feel that it needs lowering, real bad. Feel free to comment. Wheel size 19X8.5 front and 19.9.5 rear. Tires are 235/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rear.

So, are those the C class reps? I remember the big discussion on one thread about two wheels that looks very similar. These wheels have the thinner inner groove, the others are wider, can't remember which is which. I think BadDebt has the other style.

2006 Facelift CLK500 Cab-
Ive had the eibachs on stock shocks going on 2 weeks now (I know it's not long) but the ride isn't harsh at all. There are some pics of the drop on the thread I started also.

Thanks for all your replies. As for which style they are, I really can't say. Picked them up from USARIMS, model #615. After I lower it I'll post some more pics. Thanks again for all your help.

I have the same wheels, Eibach spring and Bilstein struts/shocks. Eibach springs and factory struts/shocks is not ecceptable for me. Under normal driving, it felt ok but once you hit a pothole, the car felt very bouncing. This behave is not good at high speed doing top speed. For me, it a no no !!! So I changed out the factory stuts/shocks within weeks. You can see how lowered my car with the setup, go to my "galleries" pics.

Yeah klinh is dropped on eibachs...his photos helped make my final decision for eibachs, instead of the saggy rear of h&r's...remember though he has a heavier rear because of his convertible top, but you could always go down to spring pad #1...

That's what worries me because klinh's drop is as perfect it can get for springs unless you go coilover like you...I just hope the convertible top didn't effect it that much and the spring pad #1 could compensate for this...
Guess will see after my tires come in...haha...
And man we're talking klinh up big time...lol...

500 coupe and cab weight...
Curb Weight [lb (kg)] 3585 (1626)
Curb Weight [lb (kg)] 3935 (1785)
I hope those 350 pounds don't make that much of a difference...lol...
