Question for 2005 CLK 320 Cabriolet

I just bought a 2005 CLK320 cabriolet with 27K miles and is in pristine condition. I bought an extended warranty for another 4 yrs. and 60,000 miles added to 27K miles.
I finished doing the oil change with Mobil 1 5W-40 and Fleece filter. I also replaced the Automatic transmission plug adapter (due to a very small leak) and replaced the filter and gasket and refilled the with MB ATF fluid and checked the level with the measuring dipstick.
I just ordered the engine oil measuring dipstick as I did not have one.
the dealer told me that this car takes 8.5 quarts with oil filter change.
is this correct as the WIS says like 8 quarts.
Please advise. Also, any know issues with this car? Can someone point me what service A includes as this message shows up?
I have ordered an OBDII scan tool.
Thanks a bunch

Hello ballfreak. The W209 community is very friendly and knowledgeable; these guys are just playing around. They are giving you a hard time because EVERY ONE of your questions has been answered many times over; use the search function on the W209 forums and type "oil change" or "service A". I'll give you one answer, it's 8.5 quarts for the oil change.

yeah, my bad. The WIS says 8 quarts, dealer told me 8.5 quarts, so was confused a bit.
I finally did buy oil dipstick from baum tools for $28.95.
anyways, fixed the small ATF leak on the AT plug adaptor and also changed AT filter and gasket. Now my next project, is to see if it is worth bluetooth and Ipod adaptor modification with the factory stereo? Just got new Michelins as the exisiting tires were still original, car has only 27K miles.

your dealer was right about the 8.5 quarts...I remember when i changed my 320 (long gone) oil I only have to put in 8 qt because I was using the oil evacuator ( the car measured by itself/ no dipstick) and im still using that method on my 500.

OK, my question has probably been answered before but I cannot find where. My 2007 CLK 550 (W209) is coming up on an oil change...first one for me. I have the evacuator coming, the proper filter and oil, but I cannot find either here in Hawaii or on line the correct filter top remover. Seems everyone has skipped this model. Any suggestions?

I just used the regular one that I used for my Honda and the lexus...just drive to one of your local autozone or sum like that and test it.

I've been to Carquest and Checker without success. The on line places (I've probably been to a dozen sites) never list one for that model?? Guess I'll just have to either keep trying. Thought about getting a larger one and shimming it...but not sure that will work.

It looks to be about 70-72 mm with 14 points. Tried to upload pic but not sure I've done it correctly.

Thank you Andy for your help. Here is what I see for the K&N filter...looks like it fits both our cars.
5.0L V8 F/I CLK500 (2002-2008); 5.5L V8 F/I CLK550 (2007-2009).
Wouldn't you think he filter housing would be the same?

You will have to check the K&N part number ...if they are the same you can use it.
