Ok so i recently purchased a red carbon fiber vinyl from this seller on ebay

The seller keeps telling me that it is the same item and the pictures were taken with an HD camera and tells me i am making excuses because i dont like the item

Well no duh i dont like it. What is shown in the pic is nowhere close to what i got.

Am i blind here or is this clearly wrong? The seller insist it is the same item...

Wow, that's bright. How much did you spend? I really can't tell from either your pics of the pic on the eBay link.

 

Spent like the 35 on it. Nowhere in the auction does it say that the vinyl has such gloss at it. In a regular vinyl you can feel the weave but in this you cannot and its terribly glossy.

 

Sorry to hear. There is always an escape clause for the seller. It reads "Colors may vary from the picture and video. Its very hard to capture the vivid colors and different shades of the vinyl. We recommend ordering a sample."

Resize is automatic and sometime, it won't allow your to upload the pic if it too big.

That's why it's better to host the pics on a site,

 

I didnt resize for a reason as i mentioned in my first post.

So you guys are telling me it looks the same . I guess its my fault than.
I have plenty of ebay lessons lol i used to have over 40 sales a day when i was into software and electronics.

I was just mad that the product i received was no where close to what i thought it would be.
Ill suck it up and buy another roll.

i am trying to wrap my wood trim with it.

 

you could use some rubbing compound on it, it would take a while but it would get some of that gloss off. Then wet sand/polish and it would be the same(just thinner clear coat) Honestly though, for $35 I would just buy more haha.

Story i want to share.

A riced up V4 Honda Accord was trying to race me in my CLK he thought he could keep up or win because of his loud dual setup. He said " listen man you think you can handle this and revs his engine"
I just smiled and acted like i pushed a button under my steering wheel. Green light and there he goes with a Police officer pulling him over instantly.
