Racing Seats
So I'm thinking about switching out the seats. I have a lot on my plate right now and don't want to spend crazy money. I came across Seibon seats in black cloth with Yellow Carbon Kevlar back. I am considering these because I am able to get 2 of them for around $1200. I would only be able to get one recaro/status seat for that price. My questions is, do you guys think the carbon kevlar will clash with the rest of my CF interior. Should I just hold out and get seats with black CF backs? Here are some pics of Benzboi's kevlar seat so you guys get and idea. Below are some pics of the actual seat.

The Seibon seats were pretty good, as I recall. Very comfortable. We used them while I was at RENNtech on the GLK SEMA car (a few pics, below). Call Mikey over at Seibon, I'm sure he can get you whatever other photos you need.

not a fan at all... unless it's a track car don't use racing seats. they are a total PIA to get in and out of... no heat, limited adjustment and totally ruin the lux
look of a MB IMHO. Remember that the mod bug bites hard, but keep the old adage in mind.... just because you can, doesn't mean you should

yo wes, i like the seats that donzi posted better.
but remember, being able to adjust the seat is pretty important. also since we have the coupes, keep in mind that you should get one with a the can fold upwards so you can get people in and out of your rear.

I would never buy a seat that isn't adjustable, those fixed back shell seats are down right awful for comfort. Unfortunately when it comes to racing seats, there isn't a compromise between price and comfort/safety. My personal favorite brand is Sparco (Milano Prestige) and that is exactly what I would go with if I decide to keep this car long term, but they are NOT cheap.

When I was living in Canada my track car was also a semi-daily driver in the summers, I used to drive it on a few long trips and the Corbeau seat I had in it were wonderful. Very firm but easy to adjust for comfort as well, ordered them in micro-seude or whatever they call it;
