pics will be up soon But I wanted to know how I could go about increasing the HP to the MAX without losing too much MPG, I live in MD so getting the chip will be the first thing I do. This car is a daily driver up and down 95 and should I order the 19in or 20in AMG wheels???

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the forum. Unfortunately, in terms of power, there really isn't much for the 550. There are no 'chips' for our cars, they are called tunes/flash. You could get your ECU tuned/flashed for a bump in HP and MPG. As far as the wheels, if you are using it as your DD, you should definitely count out the 20s.

Exactly what dyno said you could do the speedtuning ecu flash but no chips or miraculous bolt ons...

As for the wheels I can guarantee you no 20's as a DD...gives it a 4X4 look...19's (like mine) look great or 18's like Wes' (dyno) look awesome too and he says he's considering keeping it like that because of the comfort level...

Remember though I have eibach springs and Wes has coilovers...

You could always get a SC, but it won't be cheap.

How much would a SuperCharger hurt the engine over the long haul and affect the MPG, do you guys have an opinion about a Kleeman Exhaust and Headers, is the price worth the performance???

The SC definitely will drop your MPG. Odds are good that your not going to keep the same driving style with the SC, may be a little more spirited. As far as Kleeman, it's really up to you. You could get about the same HP from a good tune as you can the Kleeman headers at a fraction of the cost.

Welcome to the board. Tune up that 550 and do a good exhaust, let it breath, let it roar...

The best combination for the new NA cars (550, 63AMG, etc.) is an ECU flash and long-tube headers. The shorties (feeding into the factory cats) don't do much, but the long-tubes can be quite effective. As for the tune, you're gaining midrange numbers, so the curve is much better but peak numbers don't go up much.

Does Kleeman offer an S/C for the 550? I've never seen one "done" in the owner's hands. Would be very cool to see - post pics?

Not really sure. I have a friend on this board with a 550 that said they did. Haven't really checked myself.

I can confirm that they do not offer one for a 550 at this time, I was on the phone with them quite a bit this past week.
