I dunno, I think the 80's music could stay as long as it's in the confines of your own home. lol

lol, okay then. Actually, I have to say that music now is pretty good. The end of the 90's and up to mid 2000's was pretty bad IMO. A few bright spots but not many. Music is pretty good again now.

Love the front lip, really tempted to get one myself. Brings out the beauty of the AMG bumper even more and gives it more definition.

Exactly what I thought when I saw it - enhanced definition. You should go for it mate! It's cheap, takes less than 10 minutes to install and certainly looks great.

Lets see if I give in this spring, I bought some smoked corners for the front and thats it so far. My audi quattro coupe project has really been demanding too much of my attention. Reassured me again on why I hate Audis, lol. Once that is done, maybe I'll stop neglecting the CLK and give it some loving too.

Kev, did the guy who painted the lights decide what to paint and what to leave chrome or did you?

I did. I was going to leave the area around the signal chrome but it looks so damn good all black on the SLR I did the same thing. Something else that a lot of guys do is black the entire highbeam area out - I didn't want to do that, I wanted to keep the high beam functional and bright.

What do you ask? Something you would have done different?

Not that I would do anything different, I was just curious. I still don't know exactly how I want to do mine. I might end up copying you. lol

Well, I copied the SLR (there were 2 of them at the shop when I made my decision) and I love the way they turned out. Historically I have second guessed everything I have done on cars (perfectionist and very picky, one of the same I guess) but so far with this car I've been pretty damn happy with everything. I didn't originally plan to do the headlights but man am I ever glad I did.

It will completely change the look of your car man and with all your CF it'll look great! It's sounds like you're giving up on waiting for Advans and his technicolor deam headlights eh?

Yea man. After seeing them on your car, I agree they will completely change the look. I already save your pics to my comp for easy access. lol. I can't wait to get this done!

If the part that the arrow is pointing to painted also? I can't really tell.

No sir, that part of the projector housing is left chrome just like on the SLR. If you go to the SLR board, I have posted quite a few pics of them (and some 722's ) and you can see the way the headlights are done on them - I copied the look.

I'll email you a close up pic tomorrow when I'm strapped down on the dyno okay?

I noticed that! Everytime I post I'm like WTF??? It's cool though that most of the SLR's here are 722's - getting some good pics lately!

I'm really digging your theme of modding the Sh** out of it yet keeping it almost as if it came that way form the factory. Did the guy put the lights in the oven to loosen up the silicone? I'm thinking about doing this but I'm still up in the air about how it would look on silver? Also, any updates on the B.S. strut bars? ** edit, just saw your earlier post. Im sad

Car is looking awesome man, if I'm ever overseas I might rape it. Just sayin'
