Any time mate, always great to meet more 209 members - I've met a few this year in different places. Car should be all finished sometime in October/November.
And since I just posted this up for Louie and Klihn, it's only fair I man up and do the same to myself;

Kleemann update : my stuff was originally going to be in Dubai around Sept 1st, then the 15th, now it's looking like it's going to be around the end of the month. I guess they are a little behind in production but I did also add to my order so it all works out to a little bit more time. I am in regular contact with the company Director, Lars, he's a great guy to talk to and is very good at getting back to me when I have posed questions to him.
So, for those of you looking for updates, that's it for another few weeks on the Kleemann front. I have however ordered a whole bunch of other goodies that should start trickling in over the next week or so

WooHoo! My order left the Kleemann facility yesterday! Depending on customs delays, I should have it in my hands next week.
I actually don't know why I'm so excited... I usually only get to drive the car 3 or 4 times a month

Excellent optitimism there mate! Yeah, the shop that ordered & is importing the stuff for me will be doing the install and tuning as well. They are by far one of the (if not the) premiere power tuners in town, they did my dyno tune (with fantastic recorded and threaded results), thats how I got to know them.
The suspension and brake tuner I use (the best in the country by a mile) and these guys used to be one company, then they split to become dedicated to their own realms of the business - they both also build, race and operate their own race teams. As for the date, that'll depend on how long the shipment is in customs. The plan is to get it cleared, get it to me so I can get pictures of everything then take it to the shop - they will begin right away. Should be about a 2 week job but with my luck, it's going to be a lot longer...

Getting near the end now...
The latest box of goodies;
I like this badge;
Don't know what this is but it looks badass ;
Matching cams of course;
And what the hell, might as well go all the way eh? ;
Car is supposed to go in on Thursday or Sunday to begin the 'transformation'

When you're done with the SC install it should be something like this right?

I hope not, I prefer white and 4 seats
Talking to the guys about doing a little extra work while it's in the shop, not sure what I am or am not going to do yet. I don't want to get too carried away with the 7sp trans. Whatever it ends up with will be more than enough for me to be competitive on the track and still be a reliable daily.

Will do Jeff, I'll open up a Kleemann thread once the car goes in. After watching your and Carlos (2MCHCAR) boost your rides I couldn't say no

Yeah, use my experience as the "HOW NOT to do it"..... please don't repeat my mistakes. The biggest one going to amatures for the install.
Go to a pro and save time/$$$/stress. Ask me how I know.
Once installed correctly this kit drives like a stock car. But for a rookie/hack installer there are many little details which make or break this install.
I digress.
GOODLUCK!!!!!! And enjoy. I got a warning 3 days after getting my kleemanized beast home.... so watch the use of the go pedal around the man in blue

I've collected info from your thead and a few others to put together a little writeup for the installer, what to look for, what to keep in mind, etc. The shop doing the install is very reputable, they build and race their own cars for their own team and turn out some huge customer projects on a regular basis, I feel like I am dealing with the best power tuner in town.
My kit is the new version that comes with the new injectors, new spec'd cams and new ECU tune (thetune will be custom dialed in here on the dyno as well). It's nice that the injectors and fuel rail are already mounted on my blower as I saw inyour thread that there was an issue not removing the guide tabs on the original install.
If I was back home I'd be doing this install myself, I just don't have the facility or more importantly, time, to do anything here. And as for the men in blue, they have their hands full with the real supercars here, they won't even notice my little CLK-K

Most likely yes. After I get everthing all done I will probably have a few things to sell (log headers, E55K airbox, wheels, rotors, etc.). If I do sell them I'll give you dips because you asked first.

Thanks, I'll put a Kleemann specific thread up in a while, getting eager to get the car back on the track and play with the big boys. Promise there will be loads of pics!
