Updates
Okay, just a few pics of some more installed parts.
After a few months I finally took a weekend off and got my E55K airbox installed, it took a little Dremel work to get it looking like I wanted it to but the end result if a great fit arond the oil filter housing. As everyone here knows, I'm a very picky SOB so I took a long time to make sure all my hose clamps look clean and hidden for the most part. I'm also not comfotable with a simple 'press fit' to secure the Y to the TB so I also put a clamp on there - it's not going anywhere now;
I also took the car into Mercedes and had the AMS pulley installed along with my new instrument cluster, huge improvement to the look of the interior;
That's it for now, BBK's next...

I installed the pulley last week along with the crank pulley seal and a new belt (that wasn't really needed). I've only got about 100km on the car since then (that includes the dyno pulls) so I'm not going to do a review on it for a while. I'm taking the car back to MB at 500km for a crank pulley re-torque and check. After I am satisfied that all is settled I'll put a specific thread review together.

Thanks. You know, for the guys who bought the cars with this cluster it's old hat but man 'o man, for those of us who had the black gauges, what a difference. This new cluster is so much crisper and looks fantastic light-up at night. Now I just need to get that damn DTM wheel and E63 AMG paddles installed, after I finally get my wheel of course...

I ordered this at the end of January, it just came in today;
I can now finally start working on getting those E63AMG padles in, I would have been doing it right now but the only torx drive I don't own is the one I need! I'm off to Kuwait tomorrow morning so this will be my project when I get back for the weekend.
My BBK's were supposed to be here this weekend as well but the distributor has come up with another excuse for them being delayed. No track days until they are installed and broken in

I'm very interested in the paddle retrofit. Not that I have to tell you, but make sure you document everything. I really want to try it also.

As for the padles, I'll do the same job photographing and threading the build as I did on my exhaust and dyno threads - I won't let you guys down. I already see that there are going to be some fitment issues because the 2 phase buttons I have (both sides shift up and down) are longer and narrower than the AMG al. ones. What Im going to do is take the factory wheel off and mount them on it first, aka, practice.
I've already had a few of my multi-meters out on the two different switches, if I can find a way to make it work without transfering the circuts I will, if not, I'll document it in a very, very detailed fashion.
Next weekend if all goes well

Thanks bro. Quality, pretty good, I've ran MOMO wheels on my builds before and the quality of them is A+++ so everything else gets judged against them. The stitching is good, leather appears to be fine, shape is linear, just one very very small imperfection on the top of the grip, it isn't 100% flat, there is a very slight raise. Highly doubt anyone else would ever notice it. Worth the wait? In my situation, this is pretty standard pal, if I want anything over here I have to hurry up and wait

Thanks, hope to have part 1 of the project done this coming weekend, the paddles look like they are going to be a PITA, we'll see.

Forgot to post pics of my new helmet, had it done in a very simple design to go with the exterior look of my car. On the other side of the visor banner is a UAE flag.
I always felt out of place wearing my black Chevrolet helmet in the CLK
