Thanks Angelo, appreciate the comments. A few more things to do yet before it's "done".

Lol, don't be putting that on me Jeff! Car audio is one of my passions, built, tuned and showed a lot of systems in the past, nice to kinda get back into it a bit.

Never been to NZ but it's on the list, I'll skip over for a few days next time I'm in Oz. As for engine tuning, nope, I'm done with the days of sitting with a laptop on a dyno (I'll still do it on my cars back home but that's about it) but tuning audio - no problem! Most guys don't have a clue what goes into doing a proper tune - it takes days to do at a few hours a time. I really enjoy doing it, in the end the system should sound just as good at a low volume level than a high one, balance is key.

So after oogling yours and Wes's build thread for days... I'm going to bite the bullet go with quad exhaust. So please advise where to buy that glorious cf read diffuser. I scanned this thread.... but at 44 pages I ran out of gas

I'll be doing the PTE / Dynomite style duals... with the heatshields, x-pipe, and some c63 muffs IF I can find some.

The diffuser is from a company called VIS, there are a lot of retailers of it online. I paid a lot more for mine than most guys did because I had to find a company to ship to Canada (to get it put in my container headed to Dubai) then pay all the taxes and duties there when it arrived.

Seems to be a never ending story regarding me and "paid more" eh?

Ah right, good memory.

Jeff - maybe they'll cut you a good deal since you're also scooping the V wing from them.

Lol, like I said, you've got a VIP pass here.

The AMG and non-AMG bumpers have different lines and therefore fitment. However, the 500, 550 & 55 all have AMG body kits that share the same rear bumper cover (except for the duals on the '05 55, but the same fitmnt other than that) so the diffuser fits all.

Just dooooooooooo it

Looking forward to seeing the exhaust and getting your opinion on it. Also, please, please, please and PLEASE do an immediate before & after dyno at the time of the MBH headers. If they help the blower exhale and make good power over my KLEEMANN headers I'll swap. I'm sure that a set of KLEEMANN headers reasonably priced would sell in a heartbeat to a guy with a n/a M113.
