Kleemannizing My CLK500 Begins!

You get the whine when you're under load. If your transmission is in "S" while cruising around town, hardly any whine is heard. Transmission in "C", the whine is a little louder and is there all the time. In WOT situations the whine is loud and with my exhaust, it's a symphony in motion.

LoL! Thanks everyone. I'm working on getting some more videos up, but first I'm going to change out my brakes (R1 Premium Rotors, SS Brake Lines, OEM Pads), fix a suspension "clunk" on my rear passenger side (think either my strut went bad or the spring popped out of its grove), install Ghostrider Camber Kit, get some Michelin Super Sport tires, 10mm H&R Front/Rear spacers, 4 wheel alignment, and Kleemann TCU; give me a month or two!

But I imagine your quotes will be much higher (import duties, etc) than ones I'll be getting.

You should come out with your MBJunkies brothers to the Euro Meet in San Diego next month and check it out in person! It's not too far from Camp Pendleton.
Just some observations with the SC now that I have a few miles on it:
* I always drive with esp off (not dyno mode, I want to retain ABS), if not the nanny will make you look like a chump at the worse times.
* You WILL go sideways on a hard launch from a stop (so a LSD is a top priority)
* Under normal driving, I'm getting 24MPG city and 30MPG Hwy
* All non boosted cars you drive will seem gutless (TORQUE
)
