Yet another Bluetooth question

Okay, so I have had the car a few weeks and have spent several hours trying to figure out the bluetooth hook up. Even after all my reading I am still confused. I took the false back of my console/armrest apart and I have the following two sets of wires:

There is also a long plastic holder of some sort on the false back but I couldn't get enough light to get a good picture. It looks to be the perfect shape for holding the puck. What do these two sets of wires connect to?

Those are the connectors for the MHI bit that the BT puck clips into. You need two parts plus the puck for it to work. Search the C32/C55 forum for Bluetooth, there was a string on the install a couple months ago. The bits run around $500 usd.

just installed bluetooth in clk550 cabriolet

My dad just bought a 2008 clk550 cabriolet and while it was "prewired for handsfree phone" however it required several components to get working. I contacted this guy named Keith Valentine cellguy(at)live.com he came highly recommended on one form online. It cost $650.00 for the parts (including the bluetooth puck and shipping) but he talked me through it every step of the way and the install was super easy and looks factory. The guts of the handsfree telephone box have to be installed in the trunk. IF your car is really prewired it will have several wire connectors covered with foam under the carpeted flap in the passengers side of the trunk compartment. (might be different for coupe this was on the cabriolet) after you install the phone box in the back and swap some fiber optic connectors on the drivers side, then you can instal the receiver for the bluetooth puck in that knockout panel (or a specific phone cradle) in the center console.
If you are at all considering this give Keith a call/e-mail he knows everything about the phone systems for these cars and enjoys just talking about them. He could definitely tell you what you need for your car.

2007 CLS550
I am new to the MB experience. I had a general question for the bluetooth puck thing. I have a 2007 CLS550 with the connector in the armrest. Is there a cable that is made that has a USB connector on the end for my android phone?

Thanks!

I don't think so, I think your best option is to get a bluetooth puck and a normal android car charger. I am pretty sure that the only phones that can directly connect to the mercedes handsfree system are listed here

I think there might be an iphone dock for the handsfree phone, but I am not sure about that either. Besides what is your plan for after you get a new phone? I think the best bet is bluetooth, it has pretty much universal compatibility.
