Front lip questions

This winter I cracked the bottom of my front bumper while pulling into a parking spot. I'm thinking of buying a c/f lip to cover up the damage and to improve the look too. My question to you guys is. How of the front bumper does the lip actually cover?

I have a very slight split on my bumer cover as well, the CF lip doesn't cover it at all, it sits below it. What the lip does do it keep the bumper cover from moving around, so, it keeps the split from moving around as such.

A dab of touch up paint and the CF lip will do your ride good.
