Didn't really work on the car but I did wash/clean it out

Made this for a friend's girlfriend that goes to florida (he told her he made it lol)

Went to the beach yesterday and this guy parked a couple spots down-
Legit RHD skyline. I wanted to take it out for dinner and drinks, make it breakfast in bed the next morning and ACTUALLY CALL it again! lol

Got all of my LED's from superbrightleds.com so I might start on at least wiring the license plate bulbs/resistors tonight.

Actually did some work to the car!!!

DIY LED license plate lighting:
A. Take out old bulbs/lenses and soak lenses in mean green while you do the rest (mine were filthy)

B. take off the carpet cover of the inside of your decklid- then proceed to remove this panel that houses an antenna and drill some holes in it to mount the resistors

C. install resistors with tiny nuts/bolts/whatever, then plug the antenna back in and run the wires up towards the license plate lights

Reinstalled- you'd never know they were there.

Front driving lights, just for the h*** of it

D. rinse/dry lens covers-install LED bulbs into sockets and reinstall lens covers and voila

Looks great. Would have been nice if you took pics of which wires you spliced the resistors into.

Wes, there are two wires going into each harness and all you do is splice one wire from resistor to positive on car-other wire from resistor to negative. The resistors aren't polar so whichever end you put to positive or negative doesn't matter. Then repeat on other light. One resistor per bulb.

I"m digging the light output! But if you didn't want that much light you could take the covers off and rotate the bulbs around until they were only putting out as much as you wanted.

Good to know. I'll keep using mine with built-in resistors and leave these jobs to Mr.DIY!

haha I actually looked into those but they're prone to burn out faster and are more expensive (hence the built in resistor). It mainly just gave me a project for the night haha, honestly, if I had seen the ones you have sooner I probably would have gone with those buuuuut I already had the hardware to do this so I went ahead and wired them up.
