Haha I'm guessing it was one of the hooter's BIT**** because it was parked out front and had a lame "who dat" license plate so I felt no remorse.

NO LONGER ACTIVE
Is that last photo from McGuire's? I LOVE that place! We eat at the one in Destin all the time when we are down at the beach condo. I wish there was one here, but then again, it's probably just as well because I'd weigh 400lbs from eating there every day.

I just thought this pic looked cool haha

Anyways- got this old storage cart form work:
Ground off all of the rivets holding the panels on

Then cut the steel frame off of it

Then pretty'd it up with a flap wheel/grinder and clear coated it

Set everything on it

I still need to weld a handle onto it but it's pretty much done for all I care haha

Kev, I can't stop myself......

Last night's project:
the hospital I work at was throwing this away because they couldn't figure out how to adjust it/upgraded or something. whatever, I took it home

Took it apart and thought for a second about adding this bad boy to it and making a height adjustable fab table but decided against it.

Ended up mounting the bench grinder to it and ta-da. Height adjustable mobile grinder with locking wheels!

Had a couple hours to mess around in the shop last night and made some progress on the can crushing monster.

pics- made a little track that will hang off the end of the wall mount just far enough to drop the can into a bin below when done and keep the plate on the rod in the same position everytime, also mounted the switch and rolled some aluminum grate scrap I had around it to help keep it in place. These welds have not been cleaned up at all and I built them up after the hot pass to try and make this thing as indestructible as possible haha. Will grind them down a little with a flap wheel later.

The last pic is just funny.

So I've been getting water in my compressed air system lately and that's not helping too much with the plasma cutter so I came up with this:

1/2" copper tube with fitting adapters and two water trapsI'm going to move one of them to the end and put a 90 degree elbow with a T to supply the air system so it will "catch" the water better. This whole thing will be mounted to the window unit AC to get more of a cooling effect for the air.

Great Thread!

Spent many summers in P-cola when I dad lived there.

You have some great skills. I see the punisher theme working. You need a primer'd goat!
