No, was just a regular symbol cap. Just played a little with red and black spray and this is how they came up. The weren't black neither.

Yep, that's how i bought them. However, i am thinking of smoking the middle part a little more.
About the sticker, i thought the same but somehow my original AMG symbol was painted that way, thats why i put it there like this.

Smoking the turn signal in the tails will match perfect. Check out my pics, I have the same tails.

Yes Wes, you have inspired me. Did you use the regular window tint? Is it holding good? What about scratches?

Lol, it's holding great. At first I used window tint, but didn't like the way it came out. Then I tried the pre-cut film they have on eBay and it turned out pretty good. What scratches are you talkin about?

Very clean and tasteful mods Dr!
Question about the calipers; how did you paint them (powder coat, Hi-temp Spay Paint, Brush-on Caliper paint)?

Thanks pal. I used brush on caliper paint kit. Was thinking about powdercoating first, but since you have to disassembly the whole caliper, rebuild it with new parts when done, i decided to try the paint first. It came up pretty well and i still have the option to powdercoat. Maybe the spray can make the finish smoother, but this should hold on longer. I think M-benz did use spray paint for his calipers.

The brush on is much more durable definitely.

Hey dr_npz, how did you paint the side moldings black? did you take it off and paint the chrome? or did you mask off the car and paint it? If you took it off, how did you take off the bumper chrome and door panel chrome?

Hey black,
just let your bodyshop do it. Its not a DIY job, and the paint should match the bodycolor perfectly. But what i did, i took the chrome strips from the front bumper off, but you need to take the front bumper off first. Side mouldings were painted with the chrome strips on but you need to take them off and i needed to paint the whole bumper, so there were the strips left on.

But i guess any good bodyshop should do this without any problems.

Thanks !
Since my buddy owns the bodyshop, he painted the trim with the front headlights, front grill and window trim for EUR 80 - around 110 bucks.
I think that you should pay around 100 just for the trim, including the window trim.

Love your car especially the black exhaust tips.

Not a fan of the wheel caps though.
How about some light tint?

Awesome car Michal.

There's one that's sold without the gap, but a member here is trying to keep it quiet. He doesn't want to share it with the public, only if you PM him.

I am not sure how the tint will look just on the rear windows. I see that you are from Europe as well, so you know how cops feel about tinting the front windows.
