I'm currently praying to the rain gods () to see if I can get a dry day for us.... it's kind of working and hopefully the rain should stay away for most of the day.

Just got back from Benz World. Rash, Mike, myself and a couple of Rash's buddies. Great time, young Mikey got a few hundred pics to share with everyone. We didn't get out on the track, not a big deal, my car handles better anyways
For anyone going through or staying in London, this is a must see if for nothing else, just to see the exploded display of the F1 car, amazing exhibit.
Rash sure takes good care of his car, it's a very fine example of a spotless interior but man oh man, his buddies R34 GTR is brilliant! (no hard feelings Rash, we still love you!)

I'm glad that you enjoyed yourself at Brooklands... and I'm sorry that it was such a mission to get to Brooklands from Heathrow!
Thanks for your kind words about my car care... I'm just sad that I couldn't show you it in all its glory due to the rain.
It was the first time I have driven it in the rain and it was in a right state when I got home. But I had to bring it along to show you both.. it would have been rude not to, considering the distance you had both travelled.
It's great to hear that you also liked Lee's Skyline.... forgive me if I don't tell him! lol!!!
Na.. I'll let him know that you enjoyed the Skyline, I'm sure he'll be pleased and thankful to hear so.
I have taken a few pictures myself which I will post up as soon as I can!
My car is in need of desperate attention... it really is filthy.
I did my best to clean it down and dry it up when I got back.. but it will need a few evenings of some serious detailing to get her back to normal.
Thanks again guys for taking the time to meet up with us, it really was great to meet you both!

Good pics Rash, I'm sitting in the lounge waiting for my flight home, after I download mine I'll get some up as well. Rpeally hope some of the F1 display come out well, that was an incredible display.
Great meeting all of you, if was certainly worth the 3 days stop! I got Mike out and about London yesterday to see the major sights, I need to go home and rest my old bones now. Good luck with your detailing on the 63

Those damn kids in the museum hogged the SL63 for an hour. I finally got my chance after an hour to sit in it.To be honest, It didn't feel better/luxurious than our CLK:s, but I sat there imagining what It would be like if I would have gotten the keys and floored the monster on the track

The pics are coming right up tonight or this weekend. It's alot of pics and they are too big to be uploaded here.
First off, It was really nice meeting you Rash, and your buddies! We had a blast on the freeway even though the roads we're wet.
Rash, I was too afraid to sit in your car because I was worried I'd get your carpets dirty
My hat off for Kev. Really really great guy. He went over and beyond to show me the sights in London. I really appreciate it Kev!
Two things that I will remember the most are, all the walking we did the second day. We got some great pics, stopped for some good coffe, fish and chips and great Italian beer
Second thing is, the chinese restaurant in the Hilton Hotel, LOL we had some fun time messing with that waitress didn't we?
I hope to do this again someday in another country.
I'm 100% positive that I will be visiting London again.
Kev has a super power that nobody knows of until now besides me, he can spot a hot girl from his peripheral vision. Like he has an eagle eye or something

It's also good to hear that you got out and about in London with Mikey... I'm sorry I couldn't spend more time with you both.
Resting the old bones... man, I hear you there... I have just finished up in the garage for the night.
I've been frantically detailing the car to get it back to its normal glorious state of shineyness!!
It really was filthy. It's never been that dirty in all the time I've had it.
I've been detailing it since I got home on sunday.. a few hours on sunday, a few hours last night and a few hours tonight.
I reckon another hour or two tomorrow night and then it should be all good.
I'll spend a couple of hours on saturday in the engine bay. Then I'll be able to chill and get a good nights sleep! Hahaha
But I'm glad I brought it along to show you both.
I'm also glad that Mikey was able to spend alittle time in it on the way back the the Hilton.
