A lot of us are not fans of the wood trim thats why we are covering it in CF vinyl. Some of us who can afford it get the real deal and buy the actual CF pieces. Us who cant or dont want to spend the money on it just cover it with vinyl.
I have more than that covered in CF vinyl so i am definitely not taking it off in a month.
What i dont understand is: You dont like the color or you dont like the idea of putting vinyl over the wood?

Preference for carbon fiber trim is subjective: true.
The fact that real burled wood lies beneath the vinyl is not subjective: true.
But presuming that CLKboi will consider this fact and will likely take this off in a few months...is making assumptions on something that is subjective again.
Becasue it boils back down to wheter Clkboi likes it or not and has nothing to do with anyone's opinion or the fact that it's real wood.
I vinyled my "real" wood in brushed ss. It looks much better than the wood and I will not be changing it. It matters very little what materials are being replaced - it looks and feels much better to me. It's like telling someone they shouldn't replace that solid gold faucet becasue it's so luxurious and expensive, even though the brushed steel faucet looks 10 times better but it's a cheaper material. My point is the materials is less critical than the end aesthetic - which is personal preference and subjective.
I GUARANTEE that if CLkboi takes it off in a few months, It won't be becasue he's thinking about the "real" wood beneath, but that the red carbon maybe doesn't look as good as he thought.

I've been waiting for 3M to release the glossy version of there renowned Di-Noc (all my CF is glossy), so once I get a hold of somebody who sells it (Don Nguyen maybe) I'll try to update my interior too!

they need to hurry up on that *****. meanwhile, once i get my laptop up and running again, i will attempt to do a cf wrap again but add some clear lacquer on it like a member did earlier to give the look of wet cf. and since my laptop takes a beating from day to day use, i'llsee how long that last before pulling the trigger on the interior.
nonetheless, interior looking hawt andy!
That is what 2MCHCAR was talking about I think..
