If you mean Nissan, than Definitaly not! It is a cool car and fun to drive, but your 550 has more power, better engine, better options. Yes, probably for tracking and drifting, you will have more fun with it, but you will regret it lately.

That is my opinion.

in my opinion, no. i've driven one before and I found it rather slow and cramped...and also not a big fan of the Z-series...stick with the CLK!

If you're into handling then yes because it will be like day and night. As for power, I don't think there's much improve. Personally, I can't stand the look of BMW anymore. BMW lost me 10 years ago.

If you wanna go with Z, then i say Z4 M coupe is your choice. I've tracked the car on a race track, and handling and the straight 6 is awsome. Loved it really, love the look also. I personally don't like the roadster, but a coupe is whole different story. Used to have Z3 coupe in past, car was great and you have huge amount of fun with it.
As a daily drive, i like the 550 better and the sound of V8 of course

Z4M coupe is really nice! So small though. If you don't want to regret your choice get the M or you'll miss your clk for sure.

Best way to decide is go take one for a test drive and see then which car you like more. I personally do not like them and have drove the older style and new one. But you might like it so go take it for a spin. But the biggest plus is that it comes in manual while Benz continues to deprive us of manual transmissions.

My cousin had a M coupe a few years back and lord I love that car. The roadster looks fruitty but the coupe is something else and the quads sticking out the back def had a nice tone...

mmm i like the room offered in the CLK. i mean im not a big guy, but i its always nice to have. and it depends, would you mind rocking a 2 seater daily? its less practical.

i wouldnt mind rocking a CLK AND a roadster tho. keep the CLK as a daily and M as a weekend thing.

If you must have a convertible then I would go with newest model bmw z and it doesnt need to be an m model. The convertible has better looks with the hard top and a 300 hp turbo six that is tuner friendly with an option of a six speed. Beside the slk55 I think its a good choice for a little convertible
