I am on the list to buy a 430 Cab in Dallas. It should probably be available in the next thirty days. Should I wait for the 2003? If i buy a 2002 do you think I can negotiate a price, or must still pay full retail with the new ones coming.
My dealer claims there is no new model coming for at least 18 months, but that sure sounds different from this board.

CLK Cab Update
It was confirmed to me today that the last production decade for the CLK55A (Cabriolet) is March '02. That will be the end of the 55A so get your order in if you've been procrastinating.
Also, the current body CLK320A and CLK430A will continue for another year, into MY03. That's Cabs only for those less informed. ...RAB

I am buying a w208 now as well and going round and round with the dealer about cutoff dates. I called 1-800-for-merc and they said there was nothing new coming for the CLK, not through the end of the CY at least.
