Just saw a taped up NEW CLK on the street today
Dear Board Members!
On my way for lunch today, came across a BSliver well disguised CLK drove by. At first it looked like a CL with some funky bra on. As it strolled by closer, I realized it was the new CLK.
This car was spotted in Illinois Schaumburg area, maybe its becasue of the Chicago Auto thats going on until the end of this week. Although I didn't see any new CLKs on display at the Mercedes show booth.
However I did get a glimps at the new SLR and SL, the SLR was sssiiiiick, SL was like a FORD NEON sitting next to the SLR.
I didn't really get a good look at the new CLK with all the disguise on, but it looked very simiar to all the pics I've seem b4 on the Internet. It looked very boxy from the sides, the back didn't look as sporty and curvious as the current model. However the front looked decent with smaller headlights similar to the bigger brother CL.
I'm really considering trading my 01 430 for a c32 or m3, even though I like the current CLK better, I just can't get used to the idea of driving a discontinued 50k+ car......just my .02
