JBSPEED/AMG Style Painted Trunk Spoiler!!Guarantee the Quality or MONEY BACK!!!
Dental floss? Obviously when I start, I will be committed to the who thing, so I need to find some tape, so.....any old auto parts store? or the Interweb?
When we installed the BS spoiler, 2 of us lined it up while a 3rd guy released the tape starting from the center working toward the outside. No pressure was on the spoiler during this. Just enough to keep it from moving. The trick was when the tape was put on the spoiler a 2" long tab of just the tape membrane was left hanging out to start the tape release. It went on perfectly using this method.

So go ahead and hit me. I like the extra height and the angle. The truth is, if I didn't really like it better than the Camry mounting look that seems like drop-leaf table extension (just flat and straight out), I would change it. Remember, Vulcanization was discovered through a mistake. So is my mounting design. Let's call it the House method.
Thanks.

Thanks.I have good news and bad news. First, thanks Klinh for the fishing wire tip. It worked great. 50 lbs is absolute the right call. It broke and I had to be careful, so 40 wouldn't have done it.
So I took it off and spent a LONG time getting the old 3M tape off. Then I fit it back on without tape to see what I did wrong. The answer is: NOTHING. What you see in the pictures is the one and only way it fits. It cannot slide down farther or get closer to the middle brake light. So it went right back on the way it was.
Good news, I'm not a complete moron and I still like the way it looks. Better than OEM in my humble opinion.
Bad news, if you want the exact OEM look and fit, this isn't the spoiler for you. Klinh and M-bENZ were correct in noticing the non-OEM look and fit.
I now feel personally vindicated, but have to admit being a tad ticked off at the seller who posted above that I didn't get it on correctly. That was bunk.
So good luck to all. I'm moving on to take another header into the Chinese wheel market. You figure I'll get stung again?
