Ok guys, sorry for so many posts, I just want to get all my info together.
take it from the top
1) purchased wheels that came off a 2000 c280(picture above)
2) size- 19x8.5 front 19x9.5 rear. ET. 35 all around. Center bore is 66.6
3) the front do not clear the brake (did not check the rear but they should clear).
4) Im assuming i need spacers, just do not know what size to go with.
5) i wanted 5mm (so wheels do not go too far out ) but then i read that they are not hub centric and i will get vibration? i read up that 10mm spacers are hub centric.
6) when i look up spacers on H&R website it only shows bore size 66.5 but i did find 66.6 on ebay from the link above.
7) i already got the wheels mounted and balanced. but i was wondering if i should just unmount the tires from the wheels and sell them. i did buy brand new front tires and the rear have good amount of thread left! just upset at the fact that i screwed up!
8) do i have to buy h&R spacers of can i buy ebay billet hub centric spacers (like the ones above).
i really need to order the spacers tomorrow so i can go back to the shop and get them installed. i already paid for everything but they still need to mount and balance 1 wheel/tire, please guide me to get spacers or sell the wheels, i really do not want to sell them because, i like them and i spent so much money already. thanks again

Hopefully someone can chime in cuz I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff.
Center bore is 66.6
I don't run spacers, but I've heard as long as they are hubcentric you should be fine.
My setup right now is: ET 26 all around and I'm using RAD Lug Bolt 12mmx1.5, 26mm Shank, Cone Seat, 17mm Hex.
Hope that helps...

so everything came in, just waiting to purchase the bolts, still need confirmation on the bolt size.
wheels: Miro 243
Size: 19x8.5, 19x9.5 et.25 all around
spacers: 10mm
if someone can give me a definite answer on the bolt size would be great. i tried to remove the stock bolts but the shop did a good job putting them on!
BTW: the shop is charging 4$ per bolt! thats why i need to order them online and save like 40 bucks!!

wheels and tires
This is my 2007 SLK55. Wheels are Breyton 19x8.5 front, 19x9.5 rear. 35mm offset all around. No caliper clearance problems or fender rubbing ever. Stock suspension, no wheel spacers. Tires are Hankook 235/35/19 front, and 265/30/19 rear.

Genuine SL65 Amg 2 piece wheels
Ok guys so just thought I'd ask if anyone's gone with a certain size/offset..
I've managed to get my hands on a set of genuine Amg style IV 2 piece SL65 Amg wheels. Now these are the (apparently) rare 19x10 option in +28 offset while the front is 19x8.5 +25. What I want to ask is will these wheels fit up fine as those offsets are quite low and will be flush as anything. I'm currently lowered by 35mm on H&R springs.

I read through the 25 pages at least 3 times lol through the past couple of months and now I was looking at buying spacers for my non lowered clk550... It is also on the stock wheels.
My question is what is the best size spacer I should should get for both the front and the back. I would like them to sit flush with the fender or slightly before. I know it has been asked but I get confused because they start talking about things tht I just can't understand... What can I say I'm a noob.

so the stock bolts will fit, BUT ANOTHER PROBLEM, spacers do not clear the grease cap! and im scared to remove the caps and risk getting water and dust in!! FML!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im mostlikely going to sell the wheels and get some LM reps!
i have big brakes in the front (i believe 030 my car has the AMG pacckage) what would be the appropriate offset for the front?

2003 Mercedes-Benz CLK55 AMG
Hey guys,
I read through quite a few pages on this thread. Basically, I just ordered a brand new pair of 19x8.5 and 19x10 Forgestar F14's (will it look a bit too silly in the back, since the popular choice is usually 19x9.5? and will it rub against my fender?).
Also, decided to upgrade the shocks and springs. As far as I can tell, the H&R Sport Springs seem to be the most popular between you guys. Are there any other springs that don't lower the car by 1.4F and 1.3R? that might be too much for my back future 265/30/19 tires... Right now, even on stock springs and shocks, the back tires rub a little when really stomping on the gas, or if I have people in the back. But at the moment I have 275/35/19.
About spacers... Since my rims will be built from scratch, should I just let Forgestar know how far out I want my rim to stick out (if it's possible)? If so, what should I tell them?
Thanks in advance guys!

I had a 20x10 +42 offset at one stage and there was still room ..
As for tyre sizing maybe go a 265/30/19 or a 255/30/19.
For the 19x8.5 fronts go a +30 offset with a 235/30/19 tyre and you'll be fine even with the car being lowered on the H&R springs as that's the set up I have now along with the Bilstein B8 shocks

that setup should work, but my wheels et.35 did not fit! they would not clear the front brake. just confirm before you order them. (im still learning about offset) as for suspension i would go with Koni yellow and H&R springs.
