2009 CLK 550 Cabriolet
Thought I would share my new wheels, Mandrus Arrow 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 225/40/18 F and 255/35/18 R. Yes, I'm sure I will receive some 4x4 comments.

Time to replace my rears, they lasted a year at least ^^
Hankook v12 are probably my choice. I am running 275/30/19 on 10" width rims, currently my Falkens are stretched. I've been told by Elementwheels that the Hankook are actually wider (even at same 275 rating), I'd prefer to not have a stretched look though.
Anyone running 285/30/19 Hankooks? ON a 10" wide rear rim?

B. Post wheel: Size, Width, Offset. TSW Jarama Wheels 8.0 / 9.5 x 19 ET 32/35
C. Tire make/size As of today Continental DW 235/35 - 275/30 19. Just replaces defective DWS's due to ongoing balance issues. Balance would change after only a few hundred miles ... Hoping the DW will be better
D. If using spacers-size and manufacturer. Shortened lug bolts or not. No Spacers
E. If lowered- what manufacturer and how low. Also, if using a camber kit or not. H&R springs with 1.3/1.1 drop. No Camber Kit
F. Any issues with your setup or warnings about previous setups. No issues other than the bad DWS tires.

Drives an 08 CLK 550 cab, 2013 E350 sport 4matic, 08 Malibu V6
lowering my CLK550 cab
I'm considering lowering my CLK550 cab with H&R lowing springs. It already has the sport suspension and I measured the wheel gap at close to 1.5" . Has anyone with the sport suspension swapped out for the H&R Pro kit? What was the drop?
The car has 35,000 miles on the odometer. Will stock struts be OK with H&R springs....thoughts anyone?
As per the pic, I've added DW48 wheel with 15mm rear and 10mm front spacers. Also have a CF front lip. BTW, car is in storage for the winter....ony took it out to take the pics.

2004 CLK 500 with AMG Package, Not Convertible
I have 100% stock 2004 clk500, planning to replace rear tires.
What you guys recommend:
What you guys recommend:
- Rear: 245/40R17 or 265/40R17?
- Should I replace Front ones too? Though they are in good condition.
- Whats the best tire for all season(DC area)/normal driving?
- Should I get an alignment too?

So im looking at buying an 07 CLK550 to replace my former clk550. The wheels on th07 I never liked so they got to go! haha
Im looking at two options
1 http://www.powerwheelspro.com/shop/p...roducts_id=675
2.http://www.oemwheelsplus.com/index.p...heels-set.html
Im personally leaning towards wheel 2 but they only come with a 45 mm offset. Is it possible to get those to fit and if so what size spacer would I have to go with to get them to sit flush with the fender?
Would I be better going with wheel option 1 just because of the offset issue?
Thanks guys!

Hey omega! Yeah I'm pretty pumped! I love the second wheels I just need to know what size spacers I'll need. I'd like to get them close to flush but still keep the rear wheels pushed out slight more than the fronts for the aggressive stance. If anybody could help please chime in!

from the site it looks like you are going with 18? (19s would look better =])
if so, i would suggest getting them from our forum sponsor, powerwheels-pro below is a link to their thread. also, the wheels in your link are 45mm, you should get the 35mm variety for a better fit and then get yourself 10mm H&R spacers. (thats what im planing to get) from my understanding the H&R spacers fit over the front grease cap and what ever you do DO NOT REMOVE THE GREASE CAP TO FIT SOME WHEELS. there was a guy here i believe with a E55 or 63 who removed them and he ended up with a 5000 bill to get the barrings replaced.

best of luck and cant wait to see the wheels.

Thanks for the response back! I would like to get 19s but the roads where I live are horrible so I don't feel like having to worry about bending wheels. I already have to worry enough with 18s.. Haha
See that's the issue I can only find them in 18s with a 45mm offset... I can't find them with a 35mm offset in 18s.
Since most people like you go with 35 offset then 10mm spacer I'm thinking since I have to go with 45 offset I would need a 20mm spacer... Im just not sure if That's correct or not.

the thing is that 20mm spacers will cost more. so might as well ge tthe 35mm. or even better, find a good shop and get 15mm shaved off. =]

Thanks for the link! I appreciate your help and time. Those were actually the other set I was looking at! The only thing is they are bright silver instead of the gunmetal... I contacted the oemwheelsplus and usarim... They both said it only comes with the sticker... I honestly don't think anybody has the engraved ones anymore
Do you know of anybody?

Thanks for the advice! I looked through and didn't find any but i did find the gun metal amg wheels we like with a ET35 at a reputable Rep wheel place for $660 shipped! It doesn't have the engraving... just stickers but I have yet to find one place with the engraving.

Now onto the spacer question when dealing with a ET35 wheels all around. I know omega and a couple other forum members usually run 10mm spacer all around but has anybody or do you think it is possible to run a 15mm spacer in the back with 10mm up front? Wouldn't it give the car a slightly more aggressive stance or would I be better sticking with the 10mm all the way around? Sorry for the Noob questions! haha
Once again thanks I appreciate all your help Omega!
