It's called a helmholtz resonator. You can google the exact way it works but their fabricator made it himself and instead of being spherical he made it cylindrical (for ease of fitment). And thank you!! Thats initally what i was going for. I really wish you could all hear it in person!! So loud! Let's setup a meet... Anyone??? Lol

As far as pricing goes.. Its hard for me to say since I was the prototype. Also, each one is individually fitted to the car. So for instance, if you wanted to keep your secodary cats or add mufflers etc. then prices would obviously vary. Best thing is to just call DC directly and talk to them.

So do you no longer have your primary cats? I really want to hear your car in person. I think I have seen your car at cars and coffee before, I'm the other white clk 500 with black wheels that sometimes goes. Are you planning to go to c&c anytime soon?

I didn't touch my primary cats but the secondary cats were removed. And yeah I normally go every weekend! Lets get some mbs together! Maybe sometime in june?

Now that you've had the system on for a while, how are you finding the volume? After I had my headers and full exhaust done I took it back in a week later and added another resonator. Now it's perfect, loud, meaty yet mellow inside the cabin.

i mean it's loud inside the cabin don't get me wrong, but no louder than my old system. If i do eventually find it to be too loud, it will later down the road. but for now, i still love it.
