Am I the only one that prefers the look of the pre-facelift tail lights?

Seriously I love my pre facelifted tails thus why it's taking me so long to swap them but it makes the car look significantly older imo.

I didn't mind my tails until I started seeing some members swap theirs out, it really gives the car a fresh look and makes the pre-facelifted tails look very dated IMO.

At least to me the old design is much more interesting and original. It has a design aspect to it that the new version locks. The new version to me looks bland, none inspiring.

Now for the headlights, thats another story. I love the look of the xenon over the standard ones I have now. A set is waiting to be installed after the audio is done.

Congrats. Those are the correct numbers for the brackets. You shouldn't have to purchase any resistors, the lights should come with what you need.

I agree and said the same thing in a post last week. I like the 2 white lines of the older tails more. If i were to switch, it would only be for the LED ones.

Carlos and I were one of the first to buy the LED tails. The batch that we bought required extra resistors for the brake lights. Since then all the LED tails being sold have had those included in the sale.

You should be all set with whatever is in the package. Once installed no coding or error messages

CLK 500
Hi all. I got a CLK500 2004(W209). I'd like to replace the tail lights for the new style. First I was thinking about the no led ones because I thought the led one was not compatible to my car. Is the led tail light just plug & play ( I know I need the bulb holder part)? Do you guys know the best seller to buy them from?

Thanks.

Ricardo
