for sure man, ill pm u my number, doesnt inflating the tires above the recommended cause the tread to wear faster? i have 5w-40 i think rite now, i need to double check, if i could score 24mpg that would be ideal....while driving enthusiastically lol

jhouse, i think i now what your talking about, i have something similar for my iphone actually. but i plug the phone into the aux port

so far iv got

1.oil change
2.tire pressure
3. good co-pilot
4.tunes
5. redbull
6. radar-detector+laser jammer
7. video camera to record the journey.
8. tape the front bumper to avoid chips, what about the hood?
9.
....anything else i missed?
From my understanding, increasing tire pressure should prolong the tires. "Tires heat up as the tread rolls onto and off the ground because of flex. Heat (gradually) kills tires, so you want to make sure the air pressure is high enough to keep them from getting terribly warm." -http://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/What_ti...hould_I_use%3F (Some bit from my ninja forum)

I guess cleaning air filters and MAF sensors won't hurt either

Trip is done. The trip over was great. The car had a little more rolling noise than | expected, but I either I got over it or it diminished. For 500 miles I got 24.5 mpg average between 75 and 85 mph. Plenty of power.

Speaking of power, I figured out what to use that net in the wheel well I replaced. It's great to store power inverter (connected to the cigarette lighter I had fixed) so I could power, the Droid2, iPad and DroidX all at once.

Very comfortable on way over. Then found out we were bringing 11 year old back. Wife *****ed about not being able to get comfortable in the back seat the whole way back. Use a short extension cord to get the iPad to the back seat to shut her up.

Only problem on the way over was sharing one cup holder. Figured out on the way back that the rear armrest has two more in it. Apparently I had forgotten about that completely.

Also used the cruise control for the first time. That is the best designed system I have ever seen. Much better than all the others I've ever used. I only saw 3 other CLKs on the entire trip. And the trip computer is deadly accurate, which is also great.

24.5 going 75-85? Sounds lousy to me I was able to achieve 24.0 during my 450 mile (round trip) business trip doing the same speeds and I have a 500.
