clk's everywhere in France... nice/paris
spent last week in nice/paris....... sooooo many clk's roaming around.... it's almost like a toyota in the states.
Saw what looking like a new clk550 with new style mb wheels outside of one of the casino's in Nice. Is MB still selling the clk new in europe?

No it isn't, since middle 2010. In Europe there is not CLK 550, here it's called CLK 500 but has a 5.5 engine

In the USA the AMG kit for the CLK 500 is not an option? What an strange thing, here it costs about 7000 us dollars, and depending of the country if you want to install it after you have bought the car you have to pay an homologation cost. It happens with almost all the modifications; you have to pay to an engineer to do a study of security, pay for a goverment probe, and then pay for the homologation, and you have to have the bill of a professional installer to get the homologation (for example to install anything as simple as shorter springs etc...)
I had to do something similar to install my eibach pro kit springs for example

Yes. For example:
![](http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/3314/imageqxw.jpg)
4 cylinder diesel e class coupe with only paint, leather seats and navi (17'' wheels and everything stock): 57600 € = 86700 US $
Diesel price in Germany: aprox 7,60 US$ / gallon
What do you think?
