Cabin Filter

I just changed the cabin filter for my CLK320. It was dirty after only one year.

It is very easy to change the cabin filter for our cars but not the same as the R-Class. By reading the instruction for the R-Class, there is an indicator for the air flow (face up or down) in the air filter. Does this indicator exist in the cabin filter in our cars?

Dunno about a 320, but on a 550 the filter is shaped like a rectangle with one end cut at an angle, so it can only fit one way.

If you look up the Bosch cabin filter for the W203/209, I am pretty sure there is a DIY for it on their site. PDF file - I can't find it right now, but with a bit of searching you can find it. That being said, I would NOT recommend the Bosch filter as it DOES NOT fit (ask me how I know) and you are better off with the OEM or a Micronair filter. p/n 203-830-09-18-M87
