Dyno Tuning
No...no....no !!! You asked us about the custom tune or of the shelf tune before the mod and we (Kevin & I) to you the custom tune is the only way to go. Anyway, I got my custom tuned by.................
http://oetuning.com/
ha ha I have been in touch with OE tuning already and it will happen there. Yes custom tune is the way to go.
I proved to myself and hopefully others that Off the shelve is not the way to go. I see company's always advertise something and hear others asking if its true hopefully it proved some sort of point that will help others.
The pulley is up next more than likely. They claim gains lets see how much. Lets just say I am takeing one for the team
I am not mad at all really more things to worry about then this and everything is fixable.
Klinh BTW lets have Lunch if you are close to OE tuning I wil be there next month. I will buy..
Peace

I'm closer to San Diego then LA. I travel to San Diego to work every day.
We can meet up some day on the weekend in San Diego. I were down in la Mesa last weekend tested drive an Slk55 with Kleemann SC but didn't like it. Btw, did you get your dyno at MechTech Motorsport in Escondido?
Let meet up one of these day at...............

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

Looking forward to the new numbers from the custom tune, that 550 is a beast.
Lol.......I guess you can call it "bro-mance" in the making.
-put it into "dyno mode"
-Selected "M" for manual mode and drove the car on the rollers.
I can switch gears initially with the paddles and get to 4th gear but then it would continue to shift up, to 5/6/7 by itself.
If I press the pedal quickly it would seem to hold 4th for longer but it would still upshift at some random rpm. It even shifted to 5th after I stabbed the throttle at ~2000rpm to try to start the pull.
Spoke to Deon (sp?) at Renntech and he said that is not normal.

assbutt LOL
