imma spray a light layer of plastidip over the area...so it makes an outline...then take off the emblems...then place the new ones over place....the plastidip rubs right off

Sonic Tuning sent me a black chrome AMG badge (obviously it's not on the car) and it looks fantastic. If I had a silver car or black I'd love to replace all the badges in black chrome.

Black chrome would look great on your car too, I did a quick search a while ago but couldn't find the matching star. Contact the seller of the CLK badge, he might be able to track it down for you.

I sent him a message...hopefully he'll respond with a positive answer....I already have all my badges plasti-dipped black but I'm wondering how the chrome black could help with the flow of my gloss black rims and vinyl pieces...

Lol, thanks dude. My theme is white, black and chrome accents - black chrome would look pretty trick but then it would be another color in the mix, I'll just stick with the three for now

Haha for sure...either way if you did do the emblems at least I would pretty much know exactly how my car would look in white...haha...just need the updated tails and quad exhaust...

You'd think that someone makes them, black chrome is a very popular look right now. Then again, how long have CLK owners waited for someone to make an aftermarket Black Series spoiler....?

I'm a little suspect of those aftermarket projectors, I hope they are a solid product but man you sure see a lot of crap out there these days.

Dupli-Color makes a nice set of spray that might fit your needs for something that small, there products are great stuff we use it allot on RC Sailplanes that I build.

Got a little crazy with the black chrome look did the wheels license plate holder, AMG Tips and the badges finished mine up last nite. Really hard to take a good pic to get the colors it changes allot.
