Side skirt problem

Ended up with a flat tire yesterday and while changing the tire in the parking lot of work, apparently I didnt have the jack pushed back enough and when I lifted the car it lifted the side skirt instead of the jack point. (dumb yes, it was pouring down rain, the tire didnt want to come off the axle, I was in a brand new shirt, not a good start to the Friday) Yep, put a hole in the bottom of the side skirt. Hard to see from side of the car. So now my question is... is there any problem with having a hole there? Will it gather water and then make the car rust or similar? Ive thought if I need to replace the side skirt, it might be best to replace both skirts, front and rear bumper, and paint all to match (AMG pkg perhaps?). Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I would price out the side skirt from parts.com.

Or you might be able to patch the hole with fiberglass/body filler and have repainted.

NO LONGER ACTIVE
Personally, Id' go the repair route. Replacement will likely run nearly $1,000 (part is in the $400-$500 range, plus labor and paint). It's made from the same plastic as the bumper skins, so you might see if you can find a bumper repair specialist that can patch it. They usually do a fairly good job for a few hundred dollars. Check with a local car dealership to get the name of someone they use - these guys are generally mobile and travel to dealerships to do minor repairs on trade-ins.
