Flashing/Blinking License plate LED replacement bulb - Help
Not sure who to ask, I bought a couple of led license plate bulbs for my clk, but when I installed them, they start to blink every couple of seconds. I've tried a 100 ohm resistor, which worked. But the problem with that is, the resistor will get extremely hot and burn out. Eventually over time, I assume it'll stop working. Anything higher than 100 or below 100 will make it blink again. I talked to the people that I bought it from, and they say that Euro applications for lighting could be at different wattages compared to japanese applications, which they specialize in. They're basically the only people in my city who carry led bulbs. The problem is, there is no refund. and I'm just wondering what I could do.

You need a combination of a capacitor and a resistor. There are aftermarket LED's that have these built in. I was looking over on benzworld and a memeber there found these to work:

Or get these i got these long time ago and they still work. I had ones that were error free before but they burnt out in like couple days. I think its worth it.
