Tires & H&R Springs

I currently have 225.35.18/265.30.18. My ride is eh-possibly because I got crappy Falken Ziex ZE912's. Anyone know if I can run 235.40.18-265.35.18's? I got #4 pads in the read with 15mm spacers. I'm worried about the front.

Those should actually be the correct sizes for 18's, a 265 30 profile is what I run on a 19. On an 18 the 265 30 would be a little small and throw your speedo out.

Depending on the rear wheel et the 15mm spacers might be a rub issue. If rear wheel et is 20 with the spacers they will rub. That's based off of a et 35 to start.

Good to hear. Hopefully the car will ride a bit better? I find the H&R's a lil stiff on crappy Fullerton roads

Rear is +32 + 15mm spacer.

Those springs are SUPER low though right? And what spring pads do you have? I have #4 (17mm)

vogtland drops are 1.2" all around. andim running on spring pad 2. i like the drop it gives me in the rear and the front. just rubs the rear under a bump.

...i think im running spring pad 2. if not its a 3. i kept debating back and forth when i didnt the install so im pretty sure i ended up withthe lower spring pad.

and i think i will try stiffening up the koni to see if there would be less bounce.

1.2 all around is the same drop as the Eibach Pro-Kit, correct? Do you have any pictures of your car. I wanna see your stance

What do you run upfront? 225 or 235? If i do a 225/40/18, is that bad for the wheels? I found a great deal on a PS2 with 80% life but it's 225/40/18

I run 235/35's up front on my 19's. A 225/40-18 should be fine if you are going to run the same size all the way around or if your going to stagger, go 225/40-18 front and 255/35-18 rear. I believe those sizes equal out.

For winter tires I always just ran the same size all around on dedicated cheapo winter wheels (not staggered).

Gotcha. Found a killer deal on a set of 225/40/18-255/35/18 PS2's with 70% life. Gonna slap them on for the time being. Thanks for your help man
