quad exhaust muffler
DUDE so i ordered my magnaflow muffler to put in place of the resonator
looking around at everybodys setup the size of the muffler is 4" by 9"
4" tall, 9" wide
i ordered a 5" by 11" on accident
so its 2" wider than everybody elses
do you guys think it'll fit in that groove area????
or else imma have to return this

My Magnaflow 12288 that I use in place of the resonator is 5" X 8" and just fits, 11" might be a bit of a stretch mate

Mine is 18", I'm sure a 19" would also work. Borla wont have the same sound as the Magnaflow though, it wont be as deep and it will be a little more raspy. Nothing wrong with it, just made differently than Mangnaflow so the sound is also different.

would the sound of a g35/350z be comparable to a mag or a borla? eisenmann would be compared to what?
youtube vids dont do any justice and no one i know has done an exhaust mod except the loud t1n muffs =(

ive had both borla and magnaflow
borla sounds more sporty racy...almost like a motorcycle
magnaflow is just straight up OG BASS and its mellow
i woulda liked to put in a remus muffler...but that **** is WAYYY TOO EXPENSIVE

hm. thanks for you explanation. since i only have a v6, i dont think ima go with a mag for the og bass, got enough of that in the trunk LOL
gonna go with a borla. also just to check, mandrel bends is the right type of piping right?

Mandrel bends preserve the diameter of the piping through the bends, crush bends decrease and restrict flow.
