Hey guys, Im sorta new to the Mercedes World, and was wondering in the dyno mode or diagnostic mode it is showing that I have 6.7 litres in my car after it has been sitting for about an hour or so. How many litres should I be seeing on the read out in dyno mode? I thought this car took 8.5 qts but did not know if all that would be back in the oil pan, basically what I am trying to find out is what should my display say to be safe how many litres should it say? Thanks for any help you guys might be able to give me, Im learning slowly but surely!

Mine User's Manual said 8.0 qt.

 

Klinh, I think your right it is qts. Does anyone else know what their cars are reading in dyno mode with how many litres of oil is in their car?

 

for sure you are going to see somewhat around 6.X L. when ur car is running, the reading would also change when first running the engine in the morning and the reading after an hour or 2 driving.

you're safe no worries, and if ur that worried, dude do invest in a dipstick. that can save u some headache as well. the car do take 8L. of oil, yet when u run the car for sure some of the oil would be circulating here and there, that is why u see 6.X L on ur cluster when the car is running.
