Oil interval message...solution for 2003 model clks
Up until today I couldnt figure out for the life of me how to get rid of the display "138 days past due" message for my service, since I didnt have my oil change done at mercedes dealership.
I read all through the forums even my own owners manual wasnt working for me. Finaly after 30 min of messing around I figured it out, so I figure it might work for some of you as well.
Keep in mind every year may have differnt method, this happend to be the one that worked for me.
my car: 2003 clk500
step1: put key in ignition regardless if you have pushbutton start..turn key into position 2.. (1 position before starting car)
*my manual said position 1 but that didnt work (wierd)*
step2: use the arrows located on the left of your steering wheel, and push the up arrow til you see the actual dreaded message "xxx days overdue service"
Step3: Now hold down the reset button the small circular one used to illuminate ur dash, and keep it pushed down til you get message "reset maintenance etc etc"
Step4: Once you see this message in step 3 push down and hold the reset button again.
If you push it only and let go... it wont do anything, you need to hold it again, and then it will reset.
Hope this helps
Cheers,

Thanks !!! But there are many procedures for pre/post 2006 Clk models posted here back back then.
Anyways, good info and food for thought.
can u please tell me how did u access Dyno mode on your 2003 CLK.
i tried all ways ... nothing worked for me.. i have a 2003 CLK (240) as well... and till now im going crazy cz seems i am the only one who lacks a Dyno mode in the car!
Just to clear it up ..yes, this has been posted up before, but the procedures didn't seem to work for me and a few others from what I read, so I figured I would post what I did and see if it helps anyone.
If you go to MB dealer for oil change, than you don't need worry about this.
I am somewhat mechanically inclined and like to do whatever I can on my own.
In regards to dyno mode, I haven't messed with that but I did find a link that might help you.

That's the exact same procedure in my post for the post-2006 Clk.
