Blu-tooth question CLK 2009
Guys, the last thing I told the dealer in TX to do for me before he stuffed the CLK into the car carrier was to confirm the bluetooth puck was in the center console.
Ya see, he sent me a pic of the original window sticker and it lists "Bluetooth hands free" as an option (~$700
). But he told me that the puck was not there (but he was able to get me a Nav DVD and an extra key).
Sooooooooooo, I'm hoping because it is an '09 with "factory" bluetooth that it does not use/need the puck - that it is somehow built in...or am I skrewed and need to buy a puck?
If I have to buy one, does anyone have some sources?
TIA.

If you need the OEM Puck let me know I have one I am willing to let go at a really fair price. Plug and play and your set.

I'd take a second key and a nav DVD for my puck all day long. Members sell pucks all the time ~$120 or so; I've seen them on eBay ~$149, guaranteed to work with iPhones (my Blackberries work fine with B67875878; newer model is B67876131....search away!)

Mic volume, compatible with more phones not that I have found any the OEM puck will not work with. Voice recognition was the main thing for me. Plus has upgradeable firmware if needed. Also very good support if needed.

I'm with you Eddie, that's why I said "count me in".
I got the car today and was playing with the factory iPod connector. Am I wrong? It does not show any info on the nav screen? No playlists, podcasts or anything else? Jeez. Any Cartronics solutions for this?

That's correct. The iPod displays in the center of your speedometer.

Yeah, some users find that less than acceptable. So we offer systems that display Artist, Album Songs, Genre, etc in the COMAND and control from there too.
